Stopped images can occur at various flash frequencies, representing phantom objects rather than the real object. These images are less distinct as the number of marks increases.

Objects with Finite Rotational Symmetry
For objects with symmetrical axes, stopped images of the real object occur at specific flash frequencies, with phantom images appearing under certain conditions.

Replacing Flash Tube and Fuse
Instructions for replacing the flash tube and fuse are provided, emphasizing safety precautions due to high voltages.
Replacement and Maintenance Procedures
To replace the flash tube in case of failure, first remove the transparent plastic cover by unscrewing two screws. Ensure the stroboscope is turned off and unplugged. Allow the lamp to cool for at least two minutes before removal. Gently pull out the 3-pin tube and insert a new one. If the tube is tight, remove the housing cover by unscrewing four screws and use a screwdriver to loosen the tube. Reassemble before operation. A new tube may take up to an hour to stabilize.

Usage Recommendations
Avoid unnecessary use of the flash bulb to extend its life beyond the approximate 350 hours. Turn off the instrument during long intervals between uses.

Fuse Replacement
After removing the plastic housing cover, the fuse (0.5 A for 230V AC and 0.63 A for 110V AC) can be accessed and replaced.

Maintenance and Repair
If the instrument is unsafe, remove it from operation. Repairs and calibration should be performed by trained personnel or returned to the manufacturer. Always reference the type and serial number in correspondence.
