BayMotion®
Bayerische Kabelwerke AG presents BayMotion® cables, which are unique, versatile, and powerful. These cables are designed for various applications, including motor connections and control systems, with a focus on low capacitance and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
Specifications
The BayMotion® cables feature a halogen-free, flame-retardant outer sheath, aluminum screen, and copper braid. They are insulated with HP elastomer and have finely stranded copper conductors. The cables are compliant with IEC 60502-1 and Bayka company standards.
Applications
BayMotion® cables are suitable for use in buildings with high fire-protection requirements, outdoor environments, and direct burial. They are designed for large drives, servo drive technologies, automation, control, and various industries such as plastics, pharmaceuticals, and heavy industries.
Product Range
The product range includes BayMotion® nonfire B2ca Soilblack VFD EMC cables with voltage ratings of 0.6/1 kV, available in various configurations from 3x2.5+3x0.5 to 3x300+3x70.
Standards and Compliance
The cables meet several standards, including flame retardancy (EN 60332-1-2), halogen-free (IEC 60754-2), and fire behavior (EN 50399). They are UV and weather-resistant, microorganism-resistant, ozone-resistant, and oil-resistant. They comply with EU LVD, RoHS, and REACH regulations.
Technical Data
The cables have a conductor resistance according to IEC 60228 class 5, a rated voltage of 0.6/1 kV, and a testing voltage of 4 kV. They can operate in temperatures ranging from -30°C to +90°C.
