BARTEC compact radiators are designed for use as anti-freezing and anticondensate heaters in potentially explosive areas, ensuring maximum operating safety by preventing temperature fluctuations and maintaining minimum temperatures. They prevent malfunctions due to leakage currents and corrosion in electrical and mechanical components. Typical applications include switch and control cabinets, transmitter protective boxes, and analytical cabinets.

The thermostat in the connection cable maintains the required temperature range, preventing the ambient temperature from exceeding permissible limits. Proper fitting distances must be observed to prevent heat accumulation, and fins should not be covered to allow free convection. For higher holding temperatures, consultation is advised.

The radiators feature a constant ohmic resistance and a special aluminum profile that creates a chimney effect for uniform temperature distribution. In case of overheating, the heaters are isolated from the mains supply via a temperature safety fuse.
