The BPSI2 is a retro-illuminated plastic piezo switch made from Polyoxymethylene (POM) with a 22mm mounting diameter and a 25.7mm flat actuation area. It features a one-piece construction and is mounted with a nut. The switch is available in white housing and offers retro-illumination with LED colors in red, green, blue, white, yellow, or RGB, operating at 5, 12, or 24V.
The switch complies with MIL-STD - 810C, 202E, 461B, 462 standards and CE directives for low voltage components (2006/95/EEC). It has an IP69K rating, compatible with IEC 60529 and EN 60529, and meets EMC Directive 2004/108/EWG.
The switch is completely submersible, tested for 50,000,000 cycles, and offers high strength, hardness, and rigidity. It operates within a temperature range of -40 to +90 °C and comes with a five-year warranty. Customization options include cable, wires, connectors, switch function, current rating, and color choices (White, Red, Black).
The switch functions as a normally open (N.O.) momentary switch with a voltage range of 0-24 AC/DC and a standard current of 0.2A (1A optional). It has a rated breaking capacity of 1W, with operating cycles exceeding 50,000,000. The switch resistance is > 5 MΩ when off and < 20 Ω when on, with a capacity of 30 pF and a pulse duration of 125-300m. It supports free polarity contact configuration.
The actuating force required is 3-5 Newton. The housing is made of POM, with an illuminated ring of polycarbonate. Connection options include cable, wires, or pins. The switch offers shock protection at IK 06 and requires a fastening torque of 2.5 Nm.
The operating temperature range is -20 to +70 °C, with a storage temperature range of -40 to +85 °C. The switch provides IP69K protection for both front and back.
