The BL505 Dual Pistons Pressure Balance operates on the principle of static pressure, utilizing a master piston and a slave piston to create a balanced force system. When positive pressure is applied to the system, the balance is disrupted as the slave piston rises and the master piston falls. To restore balance, weights are added to the slave piston, and the weight of these masses represents the pressure value of the system. Conversely, when a vacuum is applied, the master piston rises while the slave piston falls, and the weights added to the master piston indicate the vacuum value of the system.
