Insulation Systems for Large AC Motors For motors utilizing form wound constriction for the stator coils there are (3) options available for the type of insulation system used. SolidCure - This is the standard insulation system and is the foundation for all Baldor•Reliance medium voltage motors, and when form wound coils are specified for low voltage motors.
