PDC1 - 10nC PDC2 - 100nC Partial Discharge Impulse Calibrator The b2 electronic GmbH partial discharge pulse calibrators facilitate calibration (external) for the standard PD measuring circuit according to IEC 60270:2001. These battery-powered handheld devices are chosen according on the typical charge values of PD being measured to validate the measurement. The calibrators are also used to verify overall cable length and the position of joints. PDC1 and PDC2 calibrators are for direct coupling (e.g. to a cable) and generate repeatable charge pulses of high accuracy so as to insert a PD calibration signal into the test object.
