The TacticID® Mobile is a cost-effective, ergonomic handheld Raman spectrometer operating at 1064 nm. It is designed for the rapid, non-destructive identification of narcotics, hazardous chemicals, and suspicious materials.
- Fluorescence-Free Testing: Utilizes 1064 nm light to test real-world samples, including colored and dark materials, without fluorescence interference.
- Mixture Analysis: Capable of identifying components and assessing threat levels within mixed samples.
- Safety Information: Displays GHS and NFPA704 safety data with color-coded results for appropriate action.
- Integrated Camera and GPS: Equipped with a 13MP camera, flashlight, and GPS, allowing for the entry of traceable sample information.
The device operates on an Android-based OS with a 5” touchscreen, facilitating easy use even with protective gear. Users can add custom notes and enter traceable sample information, which is searchable and sortable in the TID21 database.
- Direct measurement of powders, solids, and liquids, including through plastic bags, vials, and bottles.
- Includes a polystyrene validation cap for performance verification.
- Optional accessories include an immersion probe for liquids, a large bottle adaptor for thick amber bottles, and a large spot adaptor for heterogeneous samples.
