The in/outfeed roller is driven by an AC-motor and covered with a special high friction surface. The tension is controlled by a loadcell roller towards the printing unit. External speed is recommended for optimal tension at high speed.The unit is designed to be able to handle entering/exiting web angles in various directions. It can be mounted horizontally or vertically. The unit is prepared for single or double web-up tape.
