Product catalog summary
Overview: The ACOPOSinverter frequency inverters are designed to optimize cabinet space with a power range from 0.18 to 90 kW. They feature a compact installation width of 45 mm for up to 1.5 kW and 60 mm for up to 4 kW, making them space-efficient for control cabinet installations.
Safety Features: These inverters come with integrated safety functions such as Safe Torque Off (STO), Safely Limited Speed (SLS), and Safe Stop 1 (SS1). They comply with IEC/EN 61508-1 SIL 2/3 and ISO 13849-1 PL d/e standards, ensuring high safety levels.
Configuration and Integration: Configuration and diagnostics are facilitated through Automation Studio, allowing for quick and easy setup. The inverters support an external 24 VDC supply for control and communication, enabling parameter saving and automatic transfer to the inverter. The embedded POWERLINK interface ensures seamless integration into the B&R Motion product portfolio, offering flexibility and uniform control.
Applications: These inverters are suitable for various applications, including material handling, packaging machines, washing machines, milling machines, and more. They support both induction and synchronous motors with advanced control methods.
Technical Specifications: The inverters operate with a power supply range of single-phase 200-240 VAC and three-phase 380-480 VAC. They feature integrated EMC filters compliant with IEC/EN 61800-3 category C2/C3. The nominal current, transient current, output frequency, and switching frequency are specified for different power ratings, ensuring adaptability to various operational conditions.
Operational Conditions: The inverters are designed to operate in ambient temperatures from -10°C to 50°C, with the possibility of extending up to 60°C with derating. They can handle relative humidity levels from 5% to 95%, non-condensing.

B&R frequency inverters Total integration Safety level PL e Integrated safety is an important highlight of this inverter family. The following safety functions are always integrated in these devices: STO (Safe Torque Off) for the ACOPOSinverter P74 and P84, SLS (Safely Limited Speed) and SS1 (Safe Stop 1) for the ACOPOSinverter P74. Depending on the configuration and wiring of the frequency inverter, these safety functions satisfy IEC/EN 61508-1 SIL 2/3 and ISO 13849-1 PL d/e requirements. Frequency inverters System overview Quick and easy configuration These frequency inverters are configured and diagnosed using Automation Studio. The external 24 VDC supply for the frequency inverter control unit and communication allows this even if the supply voltage has been switched off. All parameters are saved to the PLC and transferred to the frequency inverter automatically. Commissioning can therefore be done quickly and easily without requiring specific knowledge of frequency inverters. Embedded POWERLINK interface The ACOPOSinverter P74 fits seamlessly into the B&R Motion product portfolio thanks to its integrated POWERLINK interface. Excellent flexibility is achieved by combining servo drives and frequency inverters on a POWERLINK network and by the uniform control offered by B&R‘s Generic Motion Control system. < Power range from 180 W to 90 kW < Complete integration into overall system < Automatic parameter download < Integrated safety functions B&R Corporate Headquarters Bernecker + Rainer Industrie-Elektronik Ges.m.b.H.
