The DX-2400 computer supports two 10/100 Base-T Ethernet interfaces, up to two CAN 2.0A/2.0B interfaces, and several RS232 and RS422/485 ports as well as a 1-Wire port. A hardware watchdog guarantees 24/7 system availability for demanding applications. Two 480 M bit/s high-speed USB interfaces provide flexible expandability. A microSD card supplies additional exchangeable mass storage capacity. Power is supplied via a wide range DC input. Optionally available is a separate on/off line and software controlled power off which can be used e.g. for connecting to an USP. Easy internet and intranet integration for M2M, loT and router applications The DX-2400 system ensures easy and fast implementation of M 2 M , IoT and industrial communication, data logging or control applications. DX-2400 supports two independent ethernet MAC's which a attached to the fast processor bus. This enables even router and firewall applications. The rich interface setup of the DX-2400 enables the flexible integration of industrial equipment such as PLC, inverters in solar systems, power generators, power pedestals, power meters, air conditioners, plant ventilation, sensors and many others. The integration in CANopen-, M odbus-, BACnet- or SN MP-environments is supported by appropriate libraries and software packages. Flexible programmable platform The DX-2400 comes with Kernel Version 4 based Debian 9/Stretch as well as with the Compact Linux operating system. Asa matter of course it can be freely programmed in C/C++ language by means of the GCC toolchain. A Java runtime environment, Python, PHP and other programming languages are also available. Existing software can mostly be used without modifications. The programming effort for user specific applications is sign-ficantly reduced by the extensive and ready to use protocols, servers, and clients. The CAN interfaces can comfortably handle even raw CAN telegrams via the SocketCAN software interface, a J1939 protocol stack is available as well as a CANopen interface. The web servers support webbased applications, data transfer can easily be done via FTP.
