Thermocouple Extension Cables
AXON’ thermocouple extension cables are designed for use in satellite applications, offering cost-effective and vacuum-compatible materials such as bare copper, Constantan®, and FEP. These cables are accurate and reliable, provided with calibration certificates from qualified laboratories. They are compatible with specific contacts and connectors.

Examples of Construction:
- Thermocouple extension cable 2xKT2407: Features 2407 AWG bare copper and Constantan® conductors with FEP insulation, operating between -90°C and +200°C.
- Thermocouple extension cable 2xKT2801: Similar construction with 2801 AWG conductors.
Additional AWG sizes (24, 26, 30) are available.

For high-temperature applications, alternative conductor materials are offered:
- J-type: Iron/Constantan® (-40°C to +750°C)
- E-type: Chromel®/Constantan® (-200°C to +900°C)
- N-type: Nicrosil®/Nisil® (-200°C to +1200°C)

Athermanous and Heating Wires
AXON’ provides cables and wires with special thermal properties to manage heat transmission. These can be customized and are compatible with specific contacts and connectors.

Examples of Construction:
- Shielded jacketed single stainless steel wire: Includes stranded stainless steel conductor, PTFE insulation, and PFA insulation.
- Twisted pair: Comprises stranded brass conductor, extruded PTFE insulation, and polyimide protective coating.

AXON’ uses various conductor types to meet thermal conductivity and linear resistance needs, including copper, brass, stainless steel 316L, and Kanthal, with specific thermal conductivity and resistance values provided.
