725 Nickel Anti-Seize

725 Nickel Anti-Seize

Product catalog summary
Application Areas: The Chesterton 725 Nickel Anti-Seize Compound is suitable for use on bolts, flanges, fittings, and valves.
Key Features and Benefits: This product is water-resistant and facilitates mechanical assembly and disassembly at temperatures up to 1425°C (2600°F). It has a balanced coefficient of friction, eliminating the need for torque recalculations. It meets the MIL-A-907D standard, guards against galling and corrosion, withstands extreme pressure, and is NSF H2 registered (Number 133959). It is also applicable in environments where copper use is prohibited.
Packaging: Available in aerosol, 250g and 500g brush top containers, and 20L sizes.
Directions: Treat all threaded or press-fit parts before joining to ease assembly and disassembly. Ensure surfaces are clean and apply liberally to mating surfaces.
Description: The Chesterton 725 Nickel Anti-Seize Compound is an assembly lubricant that combines the anti-seize abilities of colloidal nickel, aluminum, and graphite in an oil suspension. It provides a protective ultra-thin coating of nickel particles that prevent pitting from galvanic action between dissimilar metals. It ensures accurate load values during assembly and prevents galling damage and breakage. The compound is effective in both fresh and saltwater environments and is suitable for indoor, outdoor, and marine applications.
Typical Physical Properties: The compound appears as a metallic gray soft paste with a flash point of 95°C (204°F) and a specific gravity of 1.3 kg/l. It has an average particle size of 4 to 7 microns, a dropping point greater than 316°C (600°F), and operates up to 1425°C (2600°F). The coefficient of friction "K" factor is 0.18 (static) and 0.12 (dynamic). It shows no copper corrosion at 100°C (212°F) and has a water washout of 5.50% at 79°C (175°F). The penetration cone measures 27 to 37 mm.

PRODUCT DATA SHEET NICKEL ANTI-SEIZE COMPOUND APPLICATION AREAS • Bolts • Flanges • Fittings Valves • Water resistant • Ease mechanical assembly and disassembly up to 1425°C (2600°F) • Balanced coefficient of friction eliminates torque recalculations • Meets MIL-A-907D • Guards against Galling and Corrosion • Withstands extreme pressure • NSF H2 Registration Number 133959 • Applicable where use of copper is prohibited Chesterton® 725 Nickel Anti-Seize Compound is an assembly lubricant combining the extreme pressure, corrosion resistant anti-seize abilities of colloidal nickel, aluminum and graphite in an oil suspension which will withstand temperatures up to 1425°C (2600°F). The product seals and protects metal parts under extreme conditions by providing an ultra-thin coating of nickel particles. The particles form an antifriction barrier that will not burn, wash or scrape off. The barrier formed prevents pitting from the galvanic action between dissimilar metals that could occur if the metals were not separated. Chesterton 725 Nickel Anti-Seize Compound has a balanced coefficient of friction, threads are not stretched and more accurate load values are possible during assembly. The product saves threads and parts for reuse by preventing galling damage and breakage during opening. 725 Nickel Anti-Seize Compound will not wash off in either fresh or salt water. It can be used indoors, outdoors and in marine applications. The product meets MIL-A-907D. PACKAGING Aerosol 250g Brush Top 500g Brush Top 20L DIRECTIONS Treat all threaded or press-fit parts before joining to make assembly and disassembly easier.
