AVANCIS GmbH presents its SKALA Matrix solar modules, designed for building-integrated photovoltaics. These modules offer flexibility in size and color, making them adaptable to various architectural needs.
The modules are available in a standard size of 1,590 mm × 710 mm, with customizable glass thickness and a variety of color options. This flexibility allows for integration into diverse building designs.
The SKALA Matrix modules feature a frameless design, reducing soiling and maintenance costs. They can be mounted using simple, standardized systems, with or without backrails, and support invisible mounting for module sizes up to 2.0 m × 1.2 m.
Utilizing crystalline cell technology, these modules achieve high power output, up to 180 W/m². The efficient cell layout maximizes the aperture area, and wafer sizes can be adapted based on project-specific requirements.
Under standard test conditions, the SKALA Anthracite modules offer nominal power outputs of 182 W and 200 W, with efficiencies of 16.1% and 17.7%, respectively. They maintain a maximum system voltage of 1,000 V and are designed to operate within a temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C.
The modules are frameless, with a thickness of 9 mm (laminate) plus 33 mm (backrail), and weigh 23 kg/m². They use PERC mono cSi cells and are encapsulated with POE. The front and rear glass are both 4.0 mm single-pane safety glass.
The modules are certified for design qualification and type approval under IEC 61215:2016 and safety qualification under IEC 61730:2016.
The modules are available in various colors, each offering different power outputs, such as Dark Blue (175 W), Light Grey (155 W), Black (182 W), Anthracite (182 W), Grey (169 W), Bronze (172 W), Light Green (162 W), Green (173 W), Light Blue (174 W), and Blue (166 W).
