Description: The 2K Ultra HS Clear Coat is a two-component, ultra-high solid acrylic clear coat designed for excellent appearance and scratch resistance. It is VOC compliant.
Application: Suitable for complete and partial refinishing of cars, motorcycles, and commercial vehicles using waterborne and solvent-based basecoats.

Technical Data:
  • VOC: < 420g/L, compliant with EU limit value 2004/42/IIB(d)(420).
  • Mixing ratio: 2:1 with Hardener for 2K Ultra HS Clear Coat, with up to 10% Universal Thinner by volume.
  • Density: 994 g/L (clear coat), 976 g/L (standard hardener), 974 g/L (fast hardener), 989 g/L (slow hardener).
  • Viscosity: 18 – 20 sec at 20°C (DIN 4 mm).
Application Process:
  • Flash-off before forced drying: 10 min at 20°C.
  • Spray gun nozzle size: 1.3 – 1.4 mm, follow manufacturer's pressure recommendations.
  • Apply 2 layers with a thickness of 40 – 50 μ.
  • Flash-off between layers: 5 – 10 min.
Drying Times:
  • Baking at 60°C: Dust dry in 5 min, handling in 30 min, polish after 2 h.
  • IR drying: 8–15 min, polish after 1 h.
  • Air drying at 20°C: Dust dry in 30 min, handling in 12 h, polish after 24 h.
Storage: Store away from direct sunlight, keep dry and frost-protected.
