COMPACTO - 2

Save energy, invest in sustainable development and a better control your street lighting expense: The COMPACTO® dimmer has been developped in version II to offer more functionnalities. With more services, it can control the switch on and off of the lighting contactor, using its internal astronomical clock. With an optionnal current transformer, it could measure with a good accurancy, the real consumption and the cost saving erned. By a precise control of the voltage variations, the over consumption produced by some night over voltage on the network are cancelled, and it increases the...

Applications Lighting management of streets and roads, bypasses, crossroads, highways, commercial and industrial buildings, architectural and festive functional lighting, car parks, harbour and airport areas … These COMPACTO IIâ dimmers could also be used to balance the over light during a 3 – 4 years period. This overlight is calculated for the depreciation of lights (lamp dirt, maintenance factor, … see ANSI-RP008). Cost Savings The pre-heating phase in reduced voltage extends the lamps lifespan of approximately 30%. The network voltage stabilisation induces effects on the mean...

Parameters of Control The dimming controllers are delivered « Ready to be installed ». The connexion of the USB port of the Compacto on a computer using the Compacto PC software, permits to modify all the internal parameters. This software allows the adaptation of the Compacto II â dimming controller to any particular application. Such as changing the values of the date and the current time, the times to decrease and increase the voltage, the levels of cost saving voltage, the speeds of voltage ramp (up/down), the cycles of lighting in function of the calendar, etc … The COMPACTO II® can be...

Option - Energy Measurement This option requires the installation of a current transformer (or current sensor) around the wire of the input phase of the COMPACTO II® (see blue part below). Current sensor Liijhtiiiij grid With the ENERGY measurement option, the dimmer could measure and register the consumption of the installation and all physical parameters of lighting network. From the PC software provided, the operator can consult the recorded measurements by the voltage such as Voltages, Intensities, Active Power, Reactive Power, Power Factor, Energy consumptions. * lwt«. Adjustment of Parameters for Operation This windows allows the selection of the operation of the COMPACTO II®, and the settings of all parameters such as Voltages for Preheating, Economy ECO1 & ECO2, Input. The command functions allows internal control (mono or multi cycles) or external control (wired or analogical) That is possible to group the months, in 4 different seasons for a better management of the cost saving periods. Up to 8 days could have a particular operation (days of fest, …) Windows for clock setup Option - Control Of Lighting By Internal Astronomical Clock The COMPACTO II®...

Cycles Of Lighting The COMPACTO II® voltage controller (dimmer) proposes a standard pre-programmed operating, but has also advanced functions that allow creating lighting cycles according to a precise need. Considering a week, the COMPACTO II® allows a different operation for days during the week or the weekend. For ex., it will be possible to light less an industrial area the weekend, in order to increase of the energy saving. Week cycle (Mon-Fri) Weekend cycle (Sat-Sun) Considering a year, it is possible to have a different working according to the season. « Season », to be taken in the...
