Product catalog summary
Overview: The document provides technical specifications and details for the LIDAS on-off active safety cartridges, which are 2-way hydraulic valves designed according to ISO 7368 standards. These cartridges are used in manifold blocks for leak-free shut-off functions in hydraulic lines.
Specifications:
  • Sizes: Available in ISO 7368 sizes from 16 to 50.
  • Max Pressure: 350 bar for ports A, B, X, Y.
  • Max Flow: Up to 2000 l/min with a pressure drop (Δp) of 5 bar.
  • Seals Material: NBR for mineral oil and water glycol, FPM for other applications.
  • Temperature Range: -20°C to +70°C for ambient temperature; fluid temperature ranges from -20°C to +60°C for standard seals and up to +80°C for /PE seals.
Hydraulic Characteristics:
  • Poppet Types: Types 31, 33, and 43 with different piloting ratios and flow characteristics.
  • Flow Direction: Preferred flow direction is from B to A, but A to B is also possible.
  • Piloting: LIDAS uses pressure to X to close and pressure to Y to open; LIDASH uses de-energized to close and energized to open.
Electric Features:
  • Voltage Options: Available in various DC and AC voltages, including 12 DC, 24 DC, 110 DC, 220 DC, and several AC options.
  • Power Consumption: Varies by model, with DHI models consuming 33 W and DHE models consuming 30 W.
  • Connector Protection: IP 65 rated connectors are used, with options for built-in rectifier bridges and signal LEDs.
Installation and Dimensions:
  • Mounting: Can be mounted in any position with specific subplate surface finishing requirements.
  • Fastening Bolts: Class 12.9 bolts are used, with torque specifications provided for each size.
  • Weight: Varies by size, ranging from 2.65 kg to 18.80 kg.
Applications: These cartridges are typically used in presses and injection moulding machines due to their reliability and fast response times.

Modular cartridge valves type LIDAS-1

On-off active safety cartridges type LIDAS, 2-way ISO 7368 sizes from 16 to 50 LIDAS are 2-way active cartridge valves designed for mounting in manifold blocks and providing the leak-free shut-off function of the hydraulic line. Configuration and construction: The poppet ᕃ is hydraulically active operated in both directions, ensuring in this way higher reliability and faster response time respect to the conventional spring cartridge valves. The spring ᕆ ensures the valve closing in absence of pressure in the system. They are available in different executions: • without pilot solenoid valve • with on-off pilot solenoid valve assembled on the cartridge ᕄ Features: • ISO 7368 sizes from 16 to 50 • typical applications: presses, injection moulding machines • max flow up to 2000 l/min with Δp = 5 bar max pressure: 350 bar ᕃ ᕃ = main poppet ᕄ = cartridge sleeve ᕅ = solenoid pilot valve (LIDASH-*) ᕆ = spring MODEL CODE Pilot control - = without pilot solenoid valve H = with pilot solenoid valve 25 /* Cartridge areas Seals material: omit for NBR (mineral oil & water glycol) PE = FPM On-off active cartridges, according to ISO 7368 Series number Only for LIDASH Voltage code, see section ‫ݛ‬ = main flow (side A) = main flow (side B) = piloting area (close) = piloting area (open) Only for LIDASH X = without connector, see sec. ‫ݚ‬ Poppet type: see section ‫ݘ‬ 31, 33, 43 (with dumping nose) Thanks to the areas ratio AAP/(AA+AB), see section ‫ , ݘ‬the valve closing is always ensured with a piloting pressure (X port) equal to the line pressure (A or B line).
