Double vane pumps

Double vane pumps

Product catalog summary
Overview: The document provides technical specifications and operational details for PFED fixed displacement double vane pumps, which are composed of two PFE pump cartridges. These pumps are suitable for hydraulic oils and synthetic fluids with similar lubricating characteristics and can be configured as triple pumps when combined with PFE-4 and PFE-5 models.
Specifications: The PFED pumps are available in various configurations, such as PFED-43 and PFED-54, each composed of different PFE cartridges. They support a wide range of displacements from 29+16 to 150+85 cm3/rev and can handle maximum pressures up to 210 bar. The pumps are designed for easy installation and maintenance, with the ability to replace the pumping cartridge quickly.
Model Code: The model code includes details such as ports orientation, direction of rotation, series number, cartridge size, displacement, and drive shaft type. The pumps are not reversible and have specific configurations for clockwise and counterclockwise rotations.
Main Characteristics: The pumps can be installed in any position, but axial and radial loads on the shaft are not allowed. They operate within an ambient temperature range of -20°C to +70°C and require hydraulic oil with specific viscosity and contamination class standards. The recommended suction line pressure varies based on the pump speed.
Operating Characteristics: The document provides detailed tables and diagrams showing flow rates, power consumption, and torque requirements at various pressures and speeds. The pumps can be configured with different port orientations relative to the drive shaft, allowing flexibility in installation.
Drive Shaft and Dimensions: The document outlines the specifications for different shaft types, including keyed and splined shafts, with dimensions provided for each configuration. The pumps are equipped with SAE flanges for inlet and outlet ports, and the weights of the PFED-43 and PFED-54 models are specified.

Double vane pumps-1

Double vane pumps type PFED fixed displacement PFED are fixed displacement double vane pumps ባቤ composed by two cartridges of pumps type PFE (see tab. A005) assembled in a main body having one inlet port ቦ and two outlet ports ቧቨ. PFED-43 are composed by one cartridge of PFE-41 and one cartridge of PFE-31. PFED-54 are composed by one cartridge of PFE-51 and one cartridge of PFE-41. Suitable for hydraulic oils according to DIN 51524...535 or synthetic fluids having similar lubricating characteristics. These pumps can be assembled, as second element, with PFE-4 and PFE-5 to obtain triple pumps, see tab A190. Mounting according to SAE J744. Easy installation as inlet and outlet ports can be assembled in any of four relative positions. Easy maintenance as pumping cartridge can be replaced in a few minutes. Hydraulic symbol body first cartridge: stator, rotor, vanes, balanced plates second cartridge: as above shaft inlet port first outlet port PFED-43 second outlet port Wide variety of displacements: from 29+16 up to 150+85 cm3/rev. Max pressure up to 210 bar.
