Operation Detecting unit in a temperature-and-shock-resistant dust-proof and moistureproof container detects gamma-radiation of monitored radionuclides. Spectrometric data from detecting unit is sent via Bluetooth-adapter to a handheld PC and is displayed on its LCD screen. Instrumental spectra processing algorithm in hand-held PC software allow displaying of radioisotope composition data in the form of specific or surface activity of certain radionuclides or their concentration, specific effective activity of natural radionuclides. ▪ Measurement results can be viewed as index maps of monitored radionuclide concentration allocation or gamma radiation dose rate ▪ Available measuring geometries: 2π and 4π ▪ Instant detection of near background dose rate level increase ▪ Automatic LED stabilisation and measurement path temperature compensation ▪ Setting up procedure and parameter check using check sample that contains KCl salt with naturally occurring radionuclide 40K Ambient gamma-radiation dose equivalent rate value in inspection point is determined by instrument spectrum analysis with “spectrum-dose” operational function. ▪ Expert mode for detailed instrument spectrum analysis with automatic sample radionuclide content identification Radioactive anomalies are searched in integral count rate measurement mode.
