Description:

The Atmel® IC ATA2525 is an IR receiver designed for data communication in carrier-frequency-modulated transmission applications. It combines a small form factor with high sensitivity and noise suppression capabilities. The IC is available with standard carrier frequencies and different noise suppression regulation types to meet various remote control solution requirements. It operates within a supply voltage range of 4.5V to 5.5V.

Block Diagram:

The block diagram includes an input stage for bias voltage and signal transformation, a controlled gain amplifier (CGA), a narrow bandpass filter, and a demodulator for converting input burst signals into digital output pulses.
