How the Mango Peeler Operates Requiring only one operator, the machine removes the peel from the fruit at a rate of 54 mangos per minute. The rotary peeling heads are uniquely designed to peel from the inside out - to peel the skins in micro-thin ribbons to assure maximum yield and retention of fruit flavor. The peeling heads are separately powered by a 1/4 HP (.37 kw) motor to maintain a constant peeling speed. This machine is designed with three sets of quick-change cups to accommodate different sized fruit. • Fast & efficient • Peels micro-thin for maximum yield and fruit flavor retention Peels 54 mangos per minute Can accommodate different sized fruit Also capable of peeling kiwis, apples, lemons, oranges, pears & avocados With the manual fed machine, the operator places six mangos stem-end down in selfcentering cups; the fruit is gently held in position by four mechanical fingers as it tips forward and is impaled on the spike. The feed cups instantly return and remain stationary to allow the operator ample time for reloading. Meanwhile, in simultaneous operation, the rotary peeling heads peel the fruit.
