Product DescriptionPBP melt blown filters are designed for reliable and efficient filtration with an extended service life due to their high dirt holding capacity. The filter media consists of thermally bonded fibers forming a multi-density filtration matrix that effectively traps particulates. The manufacturing process ensures high retention efficiency, making these filters suitable for various operational conditions. The center core enhances the strength and integrity of the
filter cartridge.
Devices
PBP filters are available in a range of scalable cartridges, facilitating easy scale-up from laboratory to production-scale applications. All filters use the same media and materials, eliminating the need for requalification during process scaling.
Compatibility
Made from 100% polypropylene, PBP filters offer wide compatibility with various fluids, making them suitable for pre-filtration in water and other liquids. They are compatible with many solvents, acids, and bases, and are compliant with food production and pharmaceutical regulations.
Documentation
PBP filters are manufactured under an ISO 9001 certified Quality Management System. The materials comply with EU regulations for food contact materials, allowing their use in food and beverage applications. They also meet CFR Title 21 requirements.
Regulatory Compliance
The product complies with food contact regulations 21 CFR §177 - 182 and (EC) No 1935/2004.
Quality Assurance
An electronic Certificate of Conformity is available for each filter cartridge, detailing product approvals and batch information. The cartridges are manufactured in a controlled environment.
Product Purity
PBP series cartridges are free from surfactants, anti-static agents, binders, and adhesives.
Applications
Due to their chemical compatibility, PBP filters are used in the Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Cosmetics, and Chemical Industries for particle retention in liquids and pre-filtration for final membrane filters. They are suitable for both edible and non-edible liquids.
