Capacitive F/T Transducer Model 200 Low-Cost Six-Axis Force/Torque Sensor Product Description The Capacitive F/T Sensor measures the full six components of force and torque (Fx, Fy, Fz, Tx, Ty, Tz). This robust sensor includes integral overload protection and is IP65-rated for protection against dust and water spray. The sensor is easily connected to computer systems using the optional USB or Ethernet conversion cables. A cost-effective solution suitable for a variety of applications, the Capacitive F/T Sensor can be used for force control of industrial robots, pressing force control, grinding, deburring, and more. Capacitive F/T Transducer, Model 200 Product Advantages Output Options Cost-Effective: The Capacitive F/T’s simple structure and design make it a low-cost solution. Ethernet: The Ethernet conversion box allows the Capacitive F/T to be connected to Ethernet networks. Overload Protection: The sensor is protected with hard mechanical stops to help prevent damage from overloads. USB: The USB conversion cable allows the Capacitive F/T to be connected to USB ports. The USB conversion cable allows connection to a personal computer or other devices and enables the sensor to operate on power supplied from the USB output. Temperature Range: The Capacitive F/T is rated for operation over a range of 0°C to 50°C. Specifications Force Ranges Fx,Fy,Fz RS-422: The RS-422 output option provides unterminated wires so the user can power the sensor with 5 VDC and communicate with it via RS-422 (at 921.6 kbps).
