The MLS-1 Magnetic Linear Encoder System is designed for measuring linear displacements in industrial machines and automation systems. It consists of a sensing head and a magnetically encoded tape, offering high precision and immunity to contamination from oils and dust. The system can achieve resolutions up to 1 μm and accuracy classes of ±5 μm, making it suitable for harsh industrial environments.

The system is ideal for industries such as machine tools, woodworking, marble, glassworking, PVC cutting, lathes, milling, grinding, and welding machinery. It provides incremental encoder outputs without contact, suitable for long-distance measurements up to 100m.

Magnetic scales are increasingly used in applications where conventional glass scales were used. They offer solutions for position or angle measurement and are adaptable for non-standard products.

The B5 magnetic tape is rugged, flexible, and resistant to moisture and dust. It consists of three layers: a flexible magnetic tape, a magnetized steel tape for shielding, and a rigid steel tape for mechanical protection. It is easy to splice and assemble, providing a solid measure with a spring steel base.
