Performance Data: Gear ratios range from 8:1 to 15:1, with maximum acceleration torque of 2160 Nm and minimized circumferential backlash as an option.
Characteristics: Features include spiral-toothed gears, aluminum housing, threaded mounting holes, and a protection class of IP 54.
Specifications: The document provides detailed specifications for servo worm gearboxes, including torque values, gear ratios, and dimensions. The gearboxes are designed for high precision and efficiency, with gear ratios ranging from 5:1 to 26:1. Maximum acceleration torques can reach up to 1100 Nm, and the gearboxes are available in five sizes with center-to-center distances from 040 to 100 mm.
Procedures: Installation positions are critical for optimal performance, with specific torque values applicable to positions 1, 5, or 6. If the worm shaft is vertical or at the top, only 90% of the specified values should be expected. Regular oil changes are recommended to extend bearing life, with the first change after 500 service hours and subsequent changes every 5000 hours.
Standards and Norms: The gearboxes adhere to several standards, including ISO j6 and H7 tolerances for shaft fittings and DIN 6885 for keyways. The protection class is IP 54, and the ambient temperature range is -10°C to +90°C. The circumferential backlash is maintained below 20 arcmin.
Recommendations: For optimal performance, it is recommended to maintain oil temperatures below 90°C and to use synthetic lubricants. The document also suggests using flexible claw couplings for smooth motor shafts and provides options for different coupling types.
Key Data from Tables: The tables provide detailed torque values (T2B and T2NOT) for various gearbox sizes and operating modes (S5 and S1). They also include maximum permissible speeds (n1 max) and inertia moments for different coupling sizes. The tables specify permissible radial and axial forces on shafts, which vary depending on the gearbox size and configuration.
Critical Information: Key parameters include the gear ratio, torque values, and installation positions. The document emphasizes the importance of adhering to specified installation positions and maintaining recommended oil change intervals to ensure the longevity and efficiency of the gearboxes.

11.1.1 General Special servo gearboxes have been developed for the requirements of highly dynamic servo-motors. The proven ATEK bevel gearbox and worm gearbox series form the basis for them. The combination of a large number of motor flanges and an insertable, zero-play clamp coupling enables the adaptation to the most servo-motors. Due to the modular system, a later replacement of the motor flange and the coupling half on the motor side is very easy. Servo gearboxes (precision gearboxes)
