It also includes dimensions for gearbox sizes and IEC motors, highlighting the importance of consulting the manufacturer for specific system values.
Specifications: Key specifications include the use of bevel gear, spiral-toothed toothing, gear ratios from 3:1 to 6:1, and housing made of grey cast iron. The document specifies the material for shafts (1 C45) and details on radial shaft seal rings, ambient temperature range (-10°C to +90°C), and protection class (IP 54).
Maintenance and Lubrication: The document advises that oil change intervals are not required if the oil temperature remains below 90°C. However, changing the oil after the first 500 service hours and then every 5000 hours can extend bearing life by 1.5 times. Synthetic lubricants are recommended.
Design and Models: The document describes various models and design features, including low-backlash construction, positive coupling between motor and gearbox, and housing made of grey cast iron. It also provides an example of an order code reflecting customer specifications.
Overview: This document provides detailed specifications and performance data for various gearbox motors, including motor types, number of poles, and additional versions with side connection boxes. It includes tables with key performance metrics such as power output (P1), rotational speed (n2), torque (T2), nominal torque (T2N), maximum torque (T2 max), gearbox size, and gear ratio (i).
Specifications: The document lists multiple motor configurations with varying power outputs ranging from 0.18 kW to 11.00 kW. Each configuration is associated with specific rotational speeds, torque values, and gearbox sizes. The gear ratios vary significantly, indicating different applications and performance capabilities.
Performance Data: The tables provide a comprehensive overview of the performance data for each motor configuration. Key parameters include:
  • Power Output (P1): Ranges from 0.18 kW to 11.00 kW.
  • Rotational Speed (n2): Varies across configurations, affecting the torque and application suitability.

For the mounting of IEC standard motors, the drive shafts were changed such that the shaft journal of the motor can be inserted directly into the bore of the gearbox drive shaft. As types VLM and SLM, they are part of our product range. The proven ATEK bevel gearbox and worm gearbox series form the basis for them. The combination of a large number of motor flanges and the insertable motor shaft journal enables the adaptation to a variety of IEC motors. 10.2.1 Motors ATEK gearbox motors are available for ratings from 0.12 to 30 kW. The bevel gearbox motors are delivered with output speeds from...

10 Gearbox motors Motor protection For the pole-changing motors, it must be ensured that the windings are protected at all speeds. If appropriate, special switches will be required. Circuit breakers In case of current-dependent motor protection, the circuit breaker must be set to the nominal current specified on the rating plate. In case of higher numbers of switching actuations, cooling temperature variations or speed control with frequency converters, the motor protection is insufficient. Complete PTC resistor protection In case of complete PTC resistor protection, 3 temperature probes will...
