ASCO 330 series Volume Booster For both On/Off and control valve actuation applications The ASCO 330 series volume booster can be used for both On/Off and control actuation applications. It can also be used in applications where Partial Stroke Testing (PST) is required. The 330 series booster is certified for use in hazardous areas and in SIL applications as it is approved to ATEX, CUTR and IEC 61508. The volume booster offers a high level of flexibility, serviceability and robustness. Benefits • Specification and purchase has been made easy and spares holding can be reduced because the same product can be used for on/off or control valves. Additionally, there is a choice of a full 316L stainless steel booster valve or an aluminium version. • Faster response times and easy to install, because the unique NAMUR pad mount option enables a solenoid valve to be mounted directly on the booster, without additional piping. • The booster’s wide temperature range of -60°C to +90°C and variety of certification and approvals make it suitable for use in extreme environments. • To save time on maintenance, the booster’s unique connection option allows the instrument tubing to be disconnected without having to separate any pipe unions or dismantle the tubing. • The volume booster has an expected useful life of 12 years and product life of 24 years (Exida certified).
