Product Description: AR-Glass is a clear glass belonging to the third water resistance class, categorized as soda-lime glass with a high content of alkali and alkaline earth oxides.

DURAN Glass

Product Description: DURAN is a special borosilicate glass of the first water resistance class.

Advantages: Highly resistant to rapid temperature changes, minimal thermal expansion, corrosion-resistant, and neutral to most aggressive chemicals. It is very resistant to water, acids, saline solutions, organic substances, halogens, and has good alkali resistance.

Applications: Used in laboratory technology, chemistry, wastewater treatment, pipeline construction, measurement and control technology, and increasingly in environmental technology, such as solar collectors and flue gas desulfurization plants.

Maximum Short-term Use Temperature: 500 °C

Plexi-Glass

Product Description: Colorless Plexiglas is impact-resistant to shatterproof. It is resistant to diluted acids and alkalis, but limited resistance to organic solvents. Plexiglas is flammable like hardwood with low smoke development. The combustion gases are non-toxic and non-corrosive.

Application Temperature: Up to approximately 70 °C

Glasrohre AR-Glas Produktbeschreibung: AR-Glas ist ein Klarglas der dritten Wasserbeständigkeitsklasse und gehört zu den Kalknatrongläsern mit einem hohen Anteil an Alkali- und Erdalkalioxiden. Anwendungsbereiche: Medizin, Chemie sowie technische Bereiche wie z.B. Sonnenkollektoren. Duranglas Produktbeschreibung: DURAN ist ein spezielles Borosilicatglas der ersten Wasserbeständigkeitsklasse. Vorteile: Weitgehende Unempfindlichkeit gegenüber schnellem Temperaturwechsel sowie einer minimalen Wärmeausdehnung. Duran-Glas ist korrosionsbeständig und verhält sich neutral gegenüber fast allen agressiven Chemikalien und ist sehr beständig gegen Wasser, Säuren, Salzlösungen, organische Substanzen und Halogene, sowie eine gute Laugenbeständigkeit. Anwendungsgebiete: Labortechnik, Chemie und Abwasseranlagen, Rohrleitungsbau, Mess- und Regeltechnik sowie in verstärktem Maße in der Umwelttechnik, z.B. Sonnenkollektoren, Rauchgasentschwefelungsanlagen. Kurzzeitig höchstzulässige Gebrauchstemperatur 500 °C AR- und DURAN-Glas sind Produkte der Schott AG Plexi-Glas Produktbeschreibung: Farbloses Plexiglas ist bruchfest bis schlagzäh. Es ist gut beständig gegen verdünnte Säuren und Alkalien. Begrenzt beständig gegen organische Lösungsmittel. Plexiglas ist brennbar wie Hartholz bei geringer Rauchentwicklung.
