L'aria aspirata attraversa in sequenza un filtro metallico ed uno sintetico, depositando le particelle di granulometria maggiore. In una fase successiva, oltrepassa un filtro ad Altissima efficienza di filtrazione (filtro HEPA H13) a norme europee EN 1822 per essere riciclata in ambiente perfettamente depurata. In versione FA, lo stadio finale, costituito da una cella di carbone attivo, consente l'abbattimento di gas, esalazioni, odori ed il riciclo in ambiente dell'aria perfettamente depurata. Provvista di drenaggio che consente il recupero di circa il 78% del liquido ricondensato e di magnetotermico salvamotore. I depuratori della serie ARF 900 sono dotati di motore a basso consumo energetico in classe IE2.
