System Features and Advantages: The AquaSBR operates in a true batch process with five phases: Mix-Fill, React-Fill, React, Settle, and Decant. This design allows for effective treatment within a single reactor, eliminating the need for secondary clarifiers and return activated sludge lines. It achieves enhanced biological nutrient removal with total nitrogen levels below 3 mg/l and total phosphorus levels below 0.3 mg/l, offering low energy consumption and cost of ownership.
Phases of Operation:
- Mix-Fill: Initiates mixing for anoxic conditions, aiding denitrification and phosphorus release.
