Sealing boots are made from APM's proprietary RUBRGLAS™, providing a dust-tight and watertight seal. They conform to ZZ-R-765, Class III Grade 50, and are resistant to various environmental factors. Operational life is a minimum of 10,000 actuations, with a shelf life exceeding 25 years. Most products are QPL approved under Mil-B-5423.

Specify the APM boot part number and, if necessary, the appropriate bushing adaptor part number.
- Remove the front mounting nut from the circuit breaker bushing.
- Insert the threaded bushing through the panel and adjust the back-up nut.
- If needed, install the appropriate bushing adaptor.
- Install the circuit breaker boot using recommended tools.
