IGA TEST SUB series

IGA TEST SUB series

Product catalog summary
Overview
This document details a single-phase permanent and transient overvoltage protector with an integrated miniature circuit breaker. It combines an IGA TEST series permanent overvoltage protector with a prewired ATSUB-D M transient overvoltage protector.
Permanent Overvoltages
The IGA TEST series protectors disconnect the power supply upon detecting a permanent overvoltage, such as a neutral fault, to safeguard downstream equipment. To reset the main circuit breaker, the protective coil must be reconnected using the RESET button. The integrated MCB supports nominal currents of 25, 32, 40, 50, and 63 A.
Transient Overvoltages
The ATSUB-D M 1DIN protectors activate upon detecting transient overvoltages, diverting current to earth and reducing voltage to safe levels. Certified as a type 2 protector under UNE-EN 61643-11 and GUÍA-BT-23 standards, it features a thermodynamic control device and a mechanical warning system indicating the protector's condition.
Installation
Installation should occur without power in the line. The IGA TEST must be installed in series with the power supply line, between the Power Control Circuit Breaker (ICP) and the Residual Current Device (ID). The ATSUB-D M 1DIN should be installed in parallel with the low voltage supply line, downstream from the IGA TEST.

IGA TEST SUB series-1

DATA SHEET > IGA TEST SUB M Single-phase permanent and transient overvoltage prewired protector with integrated miniature circuit breaker This overvoltage protector is composed of an IGA TEST series permanent overvoltage protector plus a prewired ATSUB-D M transient overvoltage protector. > PERMANENT OVERVOLTAGES IGA TEST series protectors cut off the power supply when they detect a permanent overvoltage (for example, a fault in the neutral), thus protecting the equipment installed downstream. To restore the main circuit breaker, it is necessary to reconnect the protective coil in advance using the RESET button. The integrated MCB is available for the most usual nominal currents: 25, 32, 40, 50 and 63 A. > TRANSIENT OVERVOLTAGES ATSUB-D M 1DIN protectors actuate when they detect a transient overvoltage, diverting the current to earth and reducing the voltage to a level that does not damage the connected equipment. Tested and certified as a type 2 protector in official and independent laboratories according to standards UNE-EN 61643-11 and GUÍA-BT-23 from the REBT. It has a thermodynamic control device that disconnects from the electrical network in case of deterioration, and also a mechanical warning system. When the warning is black, the protector is in good condition. If it is red, replace. > INSTALLATION Installation should be carried out without power running through the line. IGA TEST must be installed in series with the power supply line, with the low voltage line, between the Power Control Circuit Breaker (ICP) and the Residual Current Device (ID). The protective coil must be installed between the line and the neutral, which connects to the residual current breaker (ID). ATSUB-D M 1DIN must be installed in parallel with the low voltage supply line, downstream from the IGA TEST. > TECHNICAL DATASHEET IGA TEST SUB M 25 AT-8781 Reference: Nominal current: Nominal voltage: Maximum overvoltage: Actuation voltage: Actuation time: Test type according to UNE- EN 61643-11: Nominal discharge current (8/20µs wave): Maximum current (8/20µs wave): Protection level (8/20µs wave): Cable range: Minimum / Maximum section : 1,5 / 25 mm2 Cable range: Minimum / Maximum section : 1,5 / 6 mm2 Tests certified according to standards: UNE-EN 61643-11, UNE-EN 50550 Relevant standards: UNE 21186, IEC 62305 Aplicaciones Tecnológicas S.A. - Parque Tecnológico de Valencia - Nicolás Copérnico, 4 - 46980 Paterna (Valencia), Spain T +34 961 318 250 - F +34 961 318 206 - [email protected] - www
