Steam Surface Condensers.

Steam Surface Condensers.

Product catalog summary
Performance Features:
  • Optimized steam transport areas and distribution patterns ensure maximum efficiency with minimal shell-side pressure drop.
  • Internal air-cooling configurations efficiently displace non-condensable gases to downstream air ejectors.
  • Shell geometries facilitate condensate movement through a live steam atmosphere into a hotwell.
  • Dissolved oxygen is effectively removed by the air ejector system.
  • Available as standalone units or complete systems, with sizes up to 12 ft. (365 cm) in diameter and 50 ft. (15 m) in length.
  • Offered in a range of standard and high-alloy materials.
  • Designed and fabricated according to HEI, ASME, TEMA, API standards, with finite element analysis and solid modeling.
Applications:
  • Power generation
  • Refinery service
  • Marine
  • Chemical processing
  • HVAC
Auxiliary Equipment:
  • Ejector system
  • Full-system instrumentation, local and/or electronic
  • Condensate pumps
  • Level gauge, transmitters, and level controls
  • Atmospheric relief valve or rupture disc
  • Steam inlet expansion joint/duct
  • Frame mounting/complete packaging
Additional Information:

Steam Surface Condensers.-1

Basco Steam Surface Condensers. ® Our steam surface condensers are known for having a long life and requiring little maintenance. These condensers create and maintain vacuum at the turbine exhaust. They convert the exhaust steam into low oxygen content condensate, while also providing hotwell storage and NPSH for condensate pumps.
