Implementation and Specificity
For trench or platform compaction control, records follow the GTR classification as per XP P94-063 standard. GeoBOX® displays penetrograms with straight and reference lines, along with sounding information such as blow number, depth, and rods number.
Data Processing
Data is transferred and processed using GeoVision® software via USB key or optionally through a GPRS system.
Operational Procedure
  1. Start the dynamic penetrometer and launch data acquisition on GeoBOX®.
  2. Monitor curves in real-time on GeoBOX® for dynamic penetrometer and/or trench or platform compaction control.
  3. Print or save results on a USB key and optionally forward data to the office via GPRS.
  4. Automatic data storage on internal memory.

APADYN® DATA ACQUISITION FOR HEAVY DYNAMIC PENETROMETER AND CONTROL OF TRENCH OR COMPACTION What is APADYN®? APADYN® allows data acquisition for dynamic penetrometer (blow counting according to the NF P 94-114 and NF P 94-115 standards) as well as control of trench or platform compaction (according to the XP 94-063 standard). The whole system works though the junction box mounted on your penetrometer, communicating by WIFI with GeoBOX®, the central unit for soil investigation. For control of trench, the hammering system has been approved by a certification CER 100 GR0032 (public centre for road equipment studies), for a GTR classification and densification aim. What makes APADYN® being so original? The APADYN® system is implemented on your equipment (APAFOR® 100 and hammering system suitable on APAFOR® 220 and 330), so it can immediately operate and makes you gain precious time for your penetrometric records. Data treatment is also simplified thanks to WIFI centralization on GeoBOX®. Thanks to blow counting and the extremely sturdy depth encoder, results offer an optimal precision. APADYN® is made of : GeoBOX®, Ultra Mobile PC extremely rugged, IP65, choc proof according to military standard, high storage capacity, with printer and adaptor, in hardy waterproof case. Junction box mounted on the penetrometer, communicating with GeoBOX® via WIFI. New depth encoder: penetration rate/depth sensor, compact and very sturdy. A new generation of remote unit, allows direct reading of the borehole depth, with more flexibility to the main control (start and stop).
