EcoTek® Sustainable Resins
AOC has been a pioneer in green resin technology since the 1970s, introducing unsaturated polyesters made with recycled materials. EcoTek resins are designed to be interchangeable with traditional petro-based resins, maintaining or exceeding their physical characteristics, including mechanical properties and chemical and UV resistance.
EcoTek resins incorporate up to 30% bio-derived renewable resources. Additionally, up to 45% of the resin content can be post-industrial recycled material, supporting sustainability and environmental responsibility.
- Cast Polymers: EcoTek resins are suitable for solid surfaces and engineered quartz applications.
- Cured In Place Pipes (CIPP): These resins are used for underground sewer pipe liners.
- Closed Mold and Open Mold Laminating Resins: Suitable for various laminating applications.
- Corrosion and Fire Retardant Resins: Designed for environments requiring high durability and safety standards.
EcoTek H460-EKAG resin has been recognized with the ACE Award for Composites Excellence, highlighting its innovative contributions to the industry.
