REMOVAL OF HEAVY SOLIDS FROM LIQUIDS A sediment separator (often also called sand separator) removes sand and other heavy solids from liquid streams. Heavy particles in liquids settle in a chamber before being dewatered and removed by a screw. With the ANDRITZ Sediment Separator ReSed-F, a huge leap forward can be achieved in efficiency thanks to optimization of the sedimentation tank geometry and internal flow pattern. The large maintenance opening and the facility for swiveling entire machine yields a major advantage for service work. Furthermore, the exchangeable wear parts inside the vat ensure short downtime for service work. ENGINEERED SUCCESS
