BALLISTIC SEPARATOR ReBal EFFICIENT SEPARATION OF 2D/3D WASTE COMPOUNDS The ANDRITZ Ballistic Separator ReBal is a robust and rigid machine designed for efficient separation of 2D/3D fraction for a vast variety of applications. The material is separated based on the various trajectories and ballistic characteristics of the waste compounds. The Ballistic Separator ReBal sets the material in motion with an inclined screen plate that oscillates at around 150 revolutions per minute. The 2D fraction, such as sheets of paper, plastic films and fabrics, are pushed upwards and transported towards the upper discharge. The 3D fraction such as stones, bricks, and other heavy items, as well as plastic bottles or cans, fall and roll downwards to the lower discharge. The perforated plate (sieve) itself generates a fine fraction. ENGINEERED SUCCESS
