Specifications: The screen is available in widths from 500 to 2500 mm and discharge heights from 1500 to 10000 mm. It supports screen mesh sizes of 3, 6, and 10 mm, with flow rates ranging from 300 to 2500 liters per second.
Construction: The Aqua-Screen features a heavy-duty frame made from epoxy-coated carbon steel or stainless steel. The travelling chain and filter plate panels are constructed from stainless steel, ensuring durability.
Operating Principle: The Aqua-Screen operates as a continuous belt fine screen, using interlocking perforated plate panels to remove solids from effluent flow. The panels are carried on heavy-duty chains and cleaned using a high-pressure spray bar and a rotating brush.
Key Components:
  • Perforated Panels: Made from stainless steel with 6 mm diameter holes, available in various open areas for optimal flow and minimal headloss.
  • Channel Sealing: Ensures no solids pass under the screen, using stainless steel plates with plastic inserts.
  • Bottom Guide Rail: Made from hardened steel for extended life, guiding the travelling drive chain.
  • Cleaning Brush: High-speed rotating brush with adjustable bristles for efficient cleaning.
  • Discharge Chute: Fully enclosed stainless steel chute for safe discharge of screenings.
  • Travelling Chain: Heavy-duty stainless steel chains protected by a polyester sealing brush.
