Permanent suspended magnets, ASPs, may be used on all bulk products, on conveyors, vibrating lines or chutes. They are intended for : — protecting the plant against ferromagnetic parts — magnetic refinement of products. Thin and average layers are processed. Ferrous parts should be in small or extraordinary quantities. ASPs are suitable for : —recycling industries (wood, glass, plastics, cable, etc.) —quarries, mines and cement works. —the paper industry, —the food - processing industry. INSTALLATION METHOD ASPs can be suspended using chains, cables or straps and eyebolts with shackles. They are installed either crossways where the product unwinds or at conveyor chutes. No energy source is required. Performances vary according to various parameters : - characteristics of the products to be processed - properties of the ferromagnetic parts to be extracted - characteristics of the plant. Four types of ASP are offered according to the working height : 200, 225, 275, 330 mm.
