Hygienic Design/Process Connection
Utilizes Negele CLEANadapt for a hygienic, gap-free installation. Compatible with G1" hygienic or Tri-Clamp connections, and adapters for various pipe standards. Supports CIP/SIP cleaning up to 150°C for 60 minutes. All product-contact parts are FDA-compliant and conform to 3-A standards.
Features/Advantages
Wear-free inductive measurement with high accuracy and reproducibility. Offers analog outputs for conductivity and temperature, with rapid temperature response time. Suitable for installation in tube diameters from DN 40.
Options/Accessories
Includes M12 plug-in connectors, longer toroid housing versions, preassembled cables, and user interface modules. Remote versions available with cable lengths up to 30 m.
Measuring Principle
Inductive conductivity measurement involves generating a magnetic field in a primary coil, inducing a current in the medium, which is detected by a secondary coil. Temperature compensation is achieved using a Pt1000 sensor.
Specifications
Process connections include G1" thread, Tri-Clamp, and Varivent. Materials used are stainless steel and PEEK. Temperature ranges from -10 to 130°C for processes, with CIP/SIP cleaning up to 150°C. Maximum operating pressure is 16 bar, with IP 69 K protection class.
Installation Advices
Not suitable for explosive areas or security-relevant equipment. Must comply with 3-A Sanitary Standards. Installation should ensure complete media flow around the sensor, with recommended installation in a rising pipe.
Cleaning/Maintenance
Avoid direct pressure washer contact with electrical connections. Dispose of through specialized recycling companies.
Transport/Storage
Store in dry, dust-free areas, avoiding corrosive media and mechanical shocks. Storage temperature should be between 0 and 40°C.
Electrical Connection/Configuration
Power supply requires 18-36 V DC. Features configurable analog outputs and a backlit LCD display. Parameters can be adjusted using a PC-based programming adapter or user interface.
Operation
Temperature coefficient detection involves setting parameters and adjusting based on medium temperature changes. User interface allows for parameter adjustments using control buttons or ID codes.
Order Code
Includes options for submersion length, process connection, output, electrical connection, interface/display, and enclosure type. Specific configurations are available for both standard and remote versions.

Specification | Functional Principle Specification Measuring Principle of the Inductive Conductivity Meter An alternating current generates a magnetic field in the primary coil (sender) which induces a current in the circumfluent medium. The current flow in the medium generates another magnetic field in the secondary coil (receiver). The strength of the induced current in the secondary coil depends on the conductivity of the medium. The conductivity of the liquid medium is temperature dependent. To compensate the temperature error, an additional sensor (Pt1000) in the sensor tip is used for monitoring...

Installation Advices | Warnings FOOD Mechanical Connection / Installation ·· The sensor has to be installed in that way that the bobbin case is entirely washed around by media and no bubbles can occure. Installation in a rising pipe is recommended. ·· The inscription “FLOW” on the bottom side of the sensor has to show in flow direction of the medium. ·· Very heavy vibrations can cause measurement errors (e. g. installation very near a pump). ·· Use Negele CLEANadapt system for safe operation of measuring point! ·· Attention: The maximum tightening torque for mounting is 20 Nm! ·· Use a welding...

Operation Creating settings with the User Interface (SUI or LUI) The software structure of the User Interface is similar to that of the PC version. The system is operated using two control buttons to the left and right of the display. These buttons can be used to navigate to the required parameter. The button functions are as follows: Occuring several media with very different conductivity in the application (e. g. CIP cleaning) switching to an adequate measuring range is neccessary for a precise measurement! Detecting the Temperature Coefficient of the Medium Default setting: TC = 2 %/K 2. Submerge...
