This super lightweight, portable alarm system uses highly accurate NDIR (non-dispersive infra-red) sensing and will alert the user to any potentially dangerous elevations in CO2. If you are using or transporting CO2 in any form: compressed gas, liquid state or dry ice, then take control and ensure you and your team are protected from the risks associated with this highly toxic gas. Legislation such as OSHA, EH40, NBIC and NFPA regulate CO2 levels and advise that an employee must not be exposed to just 0.5% (5000ppm) for more than 8 hours and that levels of 3% (30,000ppm) or more is a threat to life and an evacuation of the area is required. But fear not, with the CO2Buddy by your side you are always protected. Just clip it to your belt or use the lanyard provided and get on with your day, with true peace of mind. At less than 70g the user won't even notice it's there, unless they need it.
