Operation Principle
The Supercentrifuge features a long residence time for materials undergoing centrifugation, which enhances drying efficiency. Unlike traditional machines where the rotor moves and the basket is fixed, the Supercentrifuge has a rotating basket on a horizontal axis. This design allows for controlled residence time, extending it from 2-3 seconds in traditional machines to 10-15 seconds. Flakes are fed into the rotating basket via a screw parallel to the basket's axis, and the residence time is adjusted by the screw's speed. The flakes adhere to the basket wall, forming a layer that is scraped off by the feeding screw, which also extracts the dewatered product.

Application Fields
The Supercentrifuge is suitable for installation at the end of plastic washing processes to remove surface water, especially in film plants where maximum efficiency is required due to the large wet surface area.
