SUPER SERVICE RIDE CONTROL® BOGIE SYSTEM
The bogie features a wide-winged friction wedge that enhances stability and maintains squareness as components wear. It supports up to a 286,000-pound gross rail load or a 32.5-tonne axle load.
This system is engineered for improved safety, efficiency, and performance. Its lightweight and versatile modular design allows for increased payload and extended brake system life.
Equipped with an integrated IBEX truck-mounted brake system, this bogie system offers various configurations to suit different track gauges, journal sizes, axle loads, wheel diameters, wheel bases, center bowls, and spring types. Key configurations include:
- 2-9449: 1067mm track gauge, 20t axle load, 768mm wheel diameter, AAR Adapter Plus spring type.
- AR-764: 1067mm track gauge, 26.5t axle load, 914mm wheel diameter, bolted pocket wear plates.
- AR-768: 1067mm track gauge, 30t axle load, 914mm wheel diameter, bolted pocket wear plates.
- AR-762: 1435mm track gauge, 25t axle load, 914mm wheel diameter, AAR Adapter Plus spring type.
- AR-770: 1435mm track gauge, 25t axle load, 840mm wheel diameter, AAR Adapter Plus spring type.
- AR-3453: 1435mm track gauge, 30t axle load, 914mm wheel diameter, cast-in side bearing cage.
- AR-3384: 1435mm track gauge, 32.5t axle load, 914mm wheel diameter, standard adapter.
- AR-3434: 1435mm track gauge, 32.5t axle load, 914mm wheel diameter, AAR Adapter Plus spring type.
- 48520: 1600mm track gauge, 30t axle load, 965mm wheel diameter, D7 standard adapter.
