Product OverviewThe MTI series by MAZeT offers a family of multi-channel amplifier ICs designed for sensors with current output. These ICs are notable for their programmable bandwidth and high gain, suitable for current-to-voltage conversion using transimpedance amplifiers (TIA). They are available in various RoHS-compliant packages and as naked chips for chip-on-board technology.
MTI04Bx-BF SpecificationsThe MTI04B series consists of 4-channel transimpedance amplifiers, ideal for connecting small photodiodes and arrays with up to 20pF input capacitance. The TIAs can be programmed in three stages for gain (starting from 100nA) and bandwidth (up to 500kHz) via external pads.
- Input Current: 0.1 µA (Stage 1), 1 µA (Stage 2), 20 µA (Stage 3)
- Feedback Resistance: 5000 kΩ (Stage 1), 500 kΩ (Stage 2), 25 kΩ (Stage 3)
- Input Signal Frequency: 25 kHz (Stage 1), 70 kHz (Stage 2), 500 kHz (Stage 3)
MTI04CS/MTI04CQ FeaturesThe MTI04CS/CQ represents the second generation of multi-channel transimpedance amplifiers. It introduces digital compensation of the
transimpedance amplifier in two stages (5pF and 80pF) to match the sensor's input capacitance, such as diode capacitance in optosensors. Programming is done via three inputs across eight stages, affecting all channels simultaneously.
- Recommended for sensors with current output in the nA and µA range, such as opto-arrays and lines in UV, VIS, NIR, IR ranges.
- Applications include industrial sensors, surface analysis devices, temperature measurement, detectors for α-, β-, γ-rays, X-rays, ions, and light/laser source measurement, control, and regulation.
- Input Current: 0.025 µA (Stage 1), 0.05 µA (Stage 2), up to 20 µA (Stage 8)
- Feedback Resistance: 20000 kΩ (Stage 1), 1000 kΩ (Stage 2), down to 25 kΩ (Stage 8)
- Input Signal Frequency: 6 kHz (Stage 1), 11 kHz (Stage 2), up to 800 kHz (Stage 8) for CFOTODIODE < 5pF
