Contact Details

Application Tools & Process
Due to the stiffness of the power cable, a specific backshell is required, incompatible with standard M85049 backshells. The Dubuis crimping tool is recommended for size 00 contacts, with specific tool references provided for crimping pliers, adapters, dies, contact positioners, and insertion guides.

Installation Instructions

Wire preparation involves placing a DR25 ¾ sleeve, a clip for contact retention, and a rear insert over the wire before crimping.
Connector assembly includes lubricating the contact seal, setting up sealing O-rings, inserting contacts and seals, and using FACOM pliers for clip setup.
The crimping process requires using an insertion guide, inserting the wire until visible in the inspection hole, and handling pliers until a click is heard.
