Overview
This document provides a detailed technical description of the CMC Cold Mixing Plant, highlighting its specifications, components, and operational procedures. The plant is designed for continuous or batch production and features a sophisticated control system, the AS2000plus, which automates production and logs data for analysis.

Control System
The AS2000plus-based control system is central to the plant's operation, offering functions for recipe management, customer and vehicle data, and material statistics. It facilitates fully automated production once the necessary data is inputted.

Water Feeder
The plant includes a water feeder with a control valve and magnetic-inductive flow meter, capable of handling 1.0 to 12 t/h for concrete and 78 to 550 kg/h for foam bitumen.

Mixer
The mixer is a twin shaft pug-mill type with level-controlled retention time, designed for continuous mixing. It is driven by a 45 kW motor and can handle a capacity of 130 to 200 t/h with a maximum grain size of 80 mm.

Transportation and Power
The plant's dimensions and weight are specified for transportation, and it requires an electric power supply of 116.5 kW with an operating voltage of 400/230 V. Fuel consumption under full load is 30.2 l/h.

Feeders
The plant includes a cold feeder with an 8 m³ volume, a cement feeder with a scale capacity of 160 kg, and a foam bitumen feeder with a frequency-controlled pump.

Operational Requirements
The plant must be connected to a cement silo and a heated binder tank for operation. It can be extended with an additional trailer for more capacity and features a MAN generator for independent electricity supply.

Mixing Process
The mixing process involves feeding primary components into the mixer via a conveyor belt, with cement and water added according to precise measurements. The system ensures homogenous output with minimal wear.

Bitumen Handling
Bitumen pipes are electrically heated and insulated. The system uses a frequency-controlled pump and Coriolis mass flow meter to manage bitumen feed, with a static mixer ensuring thorough mixing with water before application.
