Product catalog summary
Overview
Infrared thermometers are non-contact temperature measuring devices used in industries such as Iron & Steel, Glass, Plastics, Rubber, Minerals, and Paper. They measure temperatures from 0 to 2600°C (50 to 4700°F) and are applicable in processes like smelting, refining, and drying.

Types of Thermometers
  • Single Wavelength Thermometers: Suitable for general and specific applications.
  • Ratio Thermometers: Ideal for environments with steam, smoke, or dust.
  • Fibroptic Thermometers: Effective for hard-to-access targets and in high temperature and magnetic fields.

SYSTEM 4 Thermometers
SYSTEM 4 includes high precision radiation thermometers, LANDMARK® processors, and mounting accessories, offering flexibility with various models covering a temperature range from 0 to 2600°C (50 to 4700°F).

Radiation Thermometers
These feature reliable electronics and optics for accurate temperature measurement, with a rugged design and adjustable focus for small target measurement.

Fibroptic Thermometers
Utilize fiber optics to place the detector in less hostile environments, available with laser targeting for precise alignment, and can operate in high ambient temperatures without cooling.

Specific Models
  • M1 Thermometers: For high temperature applications, fast response time.
  • M2 Thermometers: Extend measurement range to lower temperatures.
  • M4 Thermometers: For low temperature, low emissivity surfaces.
  • M5 Thermometers: Designed for glass surface temperature measurement.
  • M6 Thermometers: For lower temperature applications.
  • M7 Thermometers: For plastic films.
  • M8 Thermometers: For low temperature applications like food and textiles.
  • R1 Ratio Thermometers: For high temperature applications with obscured sight paths.

Specifications
Thermometers have specifications including wavelength, target diameter, focus range, and environmental conditions, designed to withstand vibration, humidity, and meet CE standards.

Accessories
A range of mounting and protection accessories ensures reliable operation in severe conditions.

Thermometer Description M1 thermometers are for general purpose use in high temperature applications. They utilize a silicon cell detector and operate at short wavelengths around 1.0µm where emissivity errors are minimized. They have a fast response time of 5ms. Model Nº Wavelength Range (µm) Minimum Target Dia* (mm/in) M2 thermometers use the latest generation of germanium detectors and operate at a wavelength of 1.6µm. They extend the measurement range of short wavelength thermometers down to 300°C/600°F and have a fast response time of 5ms. M4 short wavelength thermometers are used on low...
