A Leader In Level Measurement Solutions Drexelcage™ Accessory For Use with Displacer² ™ Transmitters It is a high quality accessory for new construction or for replacement of existing cages to support the DISPLACER2 transmitters. The line includes side-side connected cages with a wide variety of connections and ratings. They are available in A106B carbon steel or 316L stainless steel. All cages carry certification to NACE MR-01-75 and are designed to meet ASME Section 8. The Drexelcage body is 3 inch schedule 80 pipe with a 3 inch flange welded on top to mate with the specific level transmitter. It can be supplied with a suitable flanged configuration as well. An optional, plugged 1/2 inch NPT vent can also be supplied above the upper side connection. After cleaning, all carbon steel Drexelcages are painted on external surfaces and stainless items are shipped in natural condition. 1. Decide which material of construction is required. 2. Select bolt hole orientation for connection flanges (Vertical axis centered “on” or “between” bolt holes). 3. Specify standard Slip On or Weld Neck flange construction. 4. Select size and rating of connection flanges. 5. Specify flange type (RF, RTJ, etc). 6. Specify distance between flange centerlines (dimension F-F). 7. Select standard 3/4” NPTF plugged or flanged (same flange as process connections) drain configuration. 8. Select rating and type of flange (RF, RTJ, etc.) to mate with specific probe. 9. Construct Model number using reverse side of this sheet or ask your local representative to do so.
