Operation

Batteries
The 24VDCPS uses two AA batteries, with Lithium, Alkaline, or NiMH recommended. Rechargeable batteries should be removed when the Low Battery LED illuminates to prevent damage. Non-rechargeable batteries can be used until the Red Fault LED lights up. Lithium batteries are preferred for cold weather. Battery replacement involves removing the protective boot and sliding off the battery cover, ensuring correct polarity.

To avoid damage by over-dis- charging, rechargeable batteries should be removed when the Low Battery LED () illuminates.
