Roller Shells - Our contribution to sustainability and cost reduction

Product catalog summary
Introduction to Roller Shells
The new roller shells are composed of three main components: the shell, a clamping ring, and a rim with a bearing assembly. These shells are designed to be directly mounted onto the roller rim and secured using a conical clamping ring. Notably, when replacing the roller shell, the rim with the integrated bearing assembly does not need to be disassembled.
Advantages of KAHL Roller Shells
  • Utilization of conventional taper roller bearings.
  • Easy assembly of the shells, leading to significant time savings.
  • No need to remove the bearing assembly during maintenance.
  • Considerable savings on lubricants, with an option for permanent lubrication.
Specifications
  • Roller shells are available for axle diameters of 110 mm and 140 mm.
  • Roller widths are available in 156 mm and 192 mm.
  • Compatible with pelleting press types: 39/1000, 45/1000, 45/1250, and 60/1250.
Sustainability and Cost Reduction
The design and features of the KAHL roller shells contribute to sustainability and cost reduction by minimizing the need for frequent maintenance and reducing lubricant consumption.
